Brain science podcast

Fascinating interviews with cutting edge researchers. Made accessible to general audience. Worth every minute of listening.

GREAT Podcast

Wonderful podcast. Talented interviewer. If you have even a passing interest in neuroscience, you will enjoy this podcast!

Here here to Ginger!

As a physician myself I am amazed at the level of complexity in neuroscience that Ginger addresses. AND she breaks it down and reframe to make understandable to the general public. The written notes to review later are a MUST. First and favorite podcast I have stumbled upon!!! Evaleen Jones, MD

Favorite Podcast, great app

I recommend this podcast & app to anyone with interest about the brain and how we learn and function.

Best show Dr. Ginger is the best

When I discovered the podcast my life changed. When I listen to Dr. Ginger I come away better informed. Best food brain ever. Keep up the great work doc.

If you are looking for an open door in your life, listen to just one podcast! Its not only rewarding. Its life giving and life enriching!

Great podcast!

As a PM&R doc I find this podcast excellent information even for those who have and those who do not havea background in neurology or neuroscience

Resplendent!

This app is excellent! Beyond the app, the content is beyond compare. As a new to practice physician assistant working in primary care, I feel like I am learning so much beyond anything that school could offer in regards to neurobiology and especially neuralplasticity. I look forward to continued learning and integration into my own practice.

BSP Fan Showing Support

I am a pharmacist and EMT by profession. I have many Medical Podcasts and Apps on my iPod Touch, now iPhoneGS and by far my favorite podcast is the Brain Science Podcast. So have downloaded this application to show support and feed my craving for more information from Brain Science Podcast, by far one of the best overall podcasts out there by quality of information and presentation. This application works great so far. In my job I work closely with nurses and doctors also. At one of our meetings during dinner I sat next to one of our physicain sponsors for our project who is a neurologist. It was fun to ask him about what he thought about current knowledge on brain neuroplasticity and see his look on his face before we had our discussion.

Never Disappointing — Still listening 7 years later!

I’ve been listening to the Brain Science Podcast since 2008. I was a student of neuropsychology in the 80’s, but got involved in clinical practice… and the years passed quickly. Finding this podcast has kept me informed about the unfolding, and always exciting, field of neuroscience. I am grateful to Dr. Campbell for being willing to commit herself to this work. Each episode is extremely informative - the issues, the facts, etc., are always more important that the personalities involved, but Dr. Campbell does have a knack for bringing out the best in her interviewees. What is perhaps most valuable about each episode, is that I am not required to “get more information” in order to feel that I’ve really learned something important. Her review of books, her interviews, etc., really nail the most critical information for each source. However, I am often inspired to do some investigating on my own after listening.

Extremely high quality podcast

Im a clinical psychologist with experience in neuropsychology. I have learned a great deal from the interviews on this show, and it has greatly expanded my understanding of the mind, the way the brain functions, and the nature of the scientific process. I come away from each episode wanting to learn more, read more, study more. Thank you Dr. Campbell for all the great work that you do. I tell everyone I meet about your show.

My all time favorite podcast

This podcast is hands down one of the best shows Ive ever seen/heard. That includes TV, radio as well as podcasts and even The Great Courses. It is very accessible, fascinating, has a wide range of topics (within brain science), and is infectious. Ginger Campbells work is generous and outstanding. I have learned so much from being a regular listener (for at least 4 years, likely longer). If you like programs like TED, TTBOOK, or RadioLab, you will enjoy BSP. There are episodes like the one on Pain or Reading that I have listened to many, many times. Top notch, worth a subscription.

For Anyone with a Brain

This app is a great way to listen to a great podcast, bookmark favorite episodes for repeat listening, and get additional content related to the show. I am so grateful to Dr. Campbell for providing this excellent educational resource for free. Each episode covers a specific topic via interview with a scientist/author or an overview by Dr. Campbell. Fast moving and sometimes technical, I find in able to understand all of the information by repeat listening (if Im interested in the topic), which is made easier by the app favorite feature.

Amazing work!

Great job! I really enjoy listening the every single episode. App is smooth. The content is just outstanding!!

Fascinating!

Dr. Campbell is an outstanding host of this podcast. I find the information interesting but easy to understand as a lay person. Thank you for opening my mind to my brain!

GREAT SERIES

Many of the most brilliant brain scientists of our time explain complex theories and findings in layman terms--thanks to Ginger for asking the right questions.

Best podcast ever!!

Love this podcast! Love Ginger Campbell!

A MUST have for anyone interested in brains!

After hearing a few free podcasts, I signed up for the premium version. The transcripts have links to help new people understand the terminologies and concepts in the individual sessions. Dr. Campbell has some of the top people in neuroscience and cognition on her programs and reviews their latest books. Well worth the price of admission. The free current podcasts are first rate, but only made me want more!
